so do not normally need a international student visa. However, if you do require one, full details of visa and permit requirements,
advice on rights to employment in New Zealand while studying, and reporting
requirements are available through the New Zealand Immigration Service, and can
be viewed on their website at http://www.immigration.govt.nz.

your course start date.
It is against the law
to study in New Zealand without a valid
immigration visa or permit.
New Zealand privacy laws say that the Centre can only give information about
learners to other people if learners agree. Sometimes the Centre does need to
discuss learners' attendance, work, progress and attitudes with other people.

appropriate, to discuss these matters with: centre staff and counsellors;
doctors or similar; government agencies; parents or other people paying for the
course; agents; homestay families; other schools; universities etc.
1. The Centre is closed on New Zealand public holidays or holidays in place of these days. There is no
refund of fees or crediting of fees for public holidays. See http://www.ers.dol.govt.nz/holidays_act_2003/dates/2006_9.html

Centre is closed for approximately 4 weeks, from the Monday before Christmas
until the 3rd Monday in January. 3. If learners wish to take a
holiday during the course, the Centre may move the fees paid to later dates.
Learners should read the information on holidays displayed at the Centre for
full details.
